What is Bitcoin

In 2020 I started a long journey into educating myself about Bitcoin. Like most people, I had heard about it and simply dismissed it as a simple way to send money over the internet. We had Paypal. We had Visa. What was different about this "Bitcoin?"

In 2020 the US central bank added to the dollar money supply massively. Bitcoin reacted by going up. I saw this and thought maybe there was more to it than pure speculation. 

I bought the book, "The Bitcoin Standard," by Saifedean Ammous  and started what has become a perpetual education on economics, money, cryptography, and a whole lot more. 

Once I felt I knew enough, I started buying Bitcoin and haven't looked back. 

My view is as long as the code is not compromised and people find the token valuable, Bitcoin will supplant all current forms of money. 

Indeed, that is the journey it has been on since 2009.
